Job summary

Amazon in Wisconsin, Greenville, is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates and drive safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.

You will mentor staff, coordinate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA and HR, and ensure customer orders are fulfilled at the right time and location. The role requires lifting up to 49 pounds, standing up to 12 hours, and a flexible schedule including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Do you currently hold a valid and active USA state drivers license?

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to meet business objectives
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
• Work in an environment with variable temperatures and noise
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable
