Job summary

Commercial Metals Company is seeking a safety-focused professional for a rolling mill environment. You will lead safety initiatives, perform audits, and drive corrective actions while collaborating with operations to maintain safety, quality, and productivity.

The role requires deep knowledge of rolling mill processes and equipment. You will leverage MS Office and project management tools to track KPIs, coordinate maintenance, and support continuous improvement across facilities.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Microsoft Project experience preferred; AutoCAD skills are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of Rolling Mill experience; knowledge of rolling mill processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety leadership efforts integrated into daily operations
• Conduct safety audits and root-cause investigations with corrective actions
• Analyze issues to identify trends and implement improvements
• Identify and correct safety hazards and unsafe practices
• Inspect equipment and systems; implement preventive maintenance
• Define and measure key performance indicators for success
• Inspect work areas and equipment before, during, and after operations
• Coordinate internal support to reduce delays and rework
• Contribute ideas to improve safety, quality, productivity, and equipment reliability
• Assist in inventory accuracy to established standards
• Other responsibilities assigned

What You'll Need
