Job summary

Marsden Services is seeking an Area Manager to lead the Northeastern Ohio region. You will supervise daily operations across multiple sites, ensure contract scope and cleanliness standards are met, and maintain strong client relationships to support growth.

This role emphasizes leadership, employee engagement, safety, and service excellence, with travel across accounts and coaching of frontline teams to sustain high performance and retention.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of management experience leading frontline service employees across multiple sites.
• Experience in janitorial, facility services, or a related service industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience with client-facing responsibilities and/or business development is a plus.
• Regular travel within the Northeastern Ohio regional market; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across assigned accounts, ensuring cleanliness standards and contract scope are met.
• Serve as the primary client contact, maintaining relationships and proactively resolving issues.
• Lead, coach, and develop frontline associates and supervisors to drive performance and retention.
• Ensure safety standards through audits, training, and accountability.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll processes.
• Monitor service delivery, inspect work quality, and implement improvements for efficiency.
