Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager, Early Career for Michigan, on-site at one of its fulfillment centers. You will lead a team of hourly associates, drive safety, quality and productivity, and mentor staff to meet daily goals.

As a people manager, you will ensure the team has the tools to succeed and will participate in extensive training for leadership development. This is a full-time, on-site early career role with relocation options for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in progress or completed.
• Strong communication skills and excellent customer service.
• Enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's program (Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering).
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 50–100 hourly associates in a warehouse setting.
• Drive safety, quality and productivity, adjusting staffing as needed.
• Coach team members and remove roadblocks on the floor.
• Report shift performance and hand off priorities to the next manager.
