Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Knoxville, TN, seeks a Technical Services Supervisor to oversee water treatment, dialysis equipment, and the central plant across multiple clinics.

You will lead a team of engineers and technicians, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and drive quality improvements in the centralized program.

A minimum of four years supervisory experience in a technical setting is required, with relevant certifications and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of supervisory experience.
• Minimum four years in an industrial/medical technical setting or two years with BS degree.
• Ability to use common hand tools and basic computer software (MS Office, mainframe).
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of Technical Services for the defined Area.
• Supervise 10–25 clinics and 7–15 exempt/non-exempt staff.
• Manage area financial metrics (TAP, maintenance costs, travel).
• Ensure regulatory and OSHA compliance and data integrity.
• Coordinate with Quality, Education and Operations teams.
• Lead technical assessments and vendor service negotiations.
• Maintain water/dialysate quality sampling and reporting.
• Oversee equipment installation and project support.
