Job summary

Smoothie King is seeking a purpose‑driven Area Manager to oversee 6–11 stores in Texas, responsible for sales, profitability, brand image and exceptional guest service.

As an Area Manager, you will lead store teams across multiple locations, drive operational excellence, and use performance dashboards to identify opportunities and implement improvements while maintaining food safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in business or hospitality.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as GM or supervisor in restaurant/retail customer‑service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop and lead store teams to deliver a great guest experience.
• Use P&L statements and dashboards to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintain supplier relationships and inventory management.
• Conduct store visits and ensure food‑safety compliance.
• Plan weekly, monthly, quarterly schedules.
• Analyze KPIs to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Operations, Training, HR, and Marketing.

As a rapidly growing company, we search for a purpose‑driven Area Manager to oversee 6‑11 locations in Texas, responsible for sales, profitability, brand image, and exceptional guest service.

Overview

As an Area Manager, you will lead teams across multiple stores, driving operational excellence and creating a motivated, high‑performing environment. Your role will evolve with the business, requiring curiosity and a willingness to learn new challenges.

This Area Manager position oversees 6 store locations in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop and lead store teams to deliver a great guest experience.
• Use operational tools such as Profit & Loss statements, Data Central, and other performance dashboards to achieve operational excellence.
• Maintain supplier relationships and inventory management.
• Conduct store visits, including prime, food safety, and manager checklists.
• Plan weekly, monthly, quarterly schedules.
• Analyze store KPIs to identify problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Manage cash activities, daily deposits, and ensure food‑safety compliance.
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness to brand standards.
• Implement company programs and inspire teams to meet operational standards.
• Develop local marketing plans and community outreach initiatives.
• Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments.
• Collaborate with Operations, Training, HR, and Marketing.

Core Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a General Manager or supervisor in a restaurant or retail customer‑service environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Availability to travel 50% of the time.
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• Experience with OSHA, EEOC, and other federal, state, and local regulations.
• ServSafe Certification.

Travel Requirements

Travel throughout the region (50%), with extended days of 10–12 hours.
