Overview
We are looking for a purpose‑driven Assistant General Manager to join our expanding team and become an ultimate ambassador of our brand. In this role you will be charged with creating a highly productive environment focused on building a motivated team, ensuring an extraordinary guest experience, and balancing other corporate priorities with strategic, operational, and leadership excellence.
- Assist the General Manager with hiring, developing, and leading the team at the store to provide a great guest experience and fulfill our mission to inspire people to live a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Use operational tools such as Profit and Loss Statement, Daily Business Review, Cash & Deposit Log, and Data Central scheduling and inventory management tools to achieve operational excellence.
- Review store environment and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify problems, concerns, and opportunities for improvement and partner with the General Manager to address them.
- Manage cash activities for the store (daily deposits, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with food safety guidelines in the store at all times, including ensuring all Team Members are in compliance.
- Own and promote brand standards in alignment with the company vision.
- Ensure store appearance and cleanliness are upheld and consistent with Smoothie King brand standards.
- Drive implementation of company programs through action planning and inspiring the team to meet operational standards.
- Assist the General Manager in developing local store marketing plans to support brand initiatives, including initiating community outreach through marketing and special events.
- Collaborate with the General Manager to deliver the best smoothies and healthy retail products to the community.

- Be willing to work the hours needed to run the store effectively, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Have reliable transportation; if the AGM drives a vehicle for work, present proof of car insurance.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Effective communication skills with customers, team members, and the community, written and oral.
- Ability to work the hours needed to run the store effectively, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of general POS functionality.
- Experience with OSHA, EEOC, and other federal and state laws and local statutes.
- ServSafe Certification.
