Ashland is seeking an Area Maintenance Coordinator at our Calvert City, KY site. This individual contributor role focuses on planning and coordinating maintenance activities to minimize downtime and support safe, efficient plant operations.

You will work with area personnel, maintenance teams, and engineering to schedule PMs, inspections, and unit shutdowns, while tracking KPIs and reducing emergency work orders. Strong safety leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in roles of manufacturing supervision, maintenance supervision, maintenance planning, or maintenance coordination is preferred.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills are required.
• Teamwork and team leadership abilities are required.
• Chemical plant operation or chemical plant maintenance experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in safety and safety leadership is required.

Responsabilités

• Schedule equipment to be properly prepared (clean, LOTO, etc.) and ready for maintenance while minimizing downtime.
• Schedule Preventive Maintenance (PM) work on a timely basis.
• Coordinate with Asset Integrity & Reliability Eng’g and maintenance personnel to ensure all ITPMs are scheduled and completed on time.
• Provide area input to maintenance personnel and define equipment setups for safe maintenance repair.
• Plan unit shutdowns and manage R&M spending by capitalizing repair jobs that result in equipment replacement.
• Reduce the number of emergency work orders and daily use of CMMS (Maximo).
• Estimate and plan maintenance work and its impact on plant production equipment availability.
• Schedule and manage annual unit maintenance shutdowns.
