Job summary

Amazon in Shreveport, LA is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead a dynamic maintenance team, drive safety, and deliver operational excellence across MHE and robotics.

You will develop maintenance strategies, oversee preventative programs, collaborate with operations, and mentor technicians to perform at their best.

This role requires strong leadership, CMMS experience, and the ability to balance proactive planning with rapid response to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time experience
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience
• 2+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers
• Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities across the site
• Design and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs that enhance operational efficiency
• Manage and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards
• Monitor MHE metrics and partner with applicable team to address system performance issues and provide analysis across all operations
