Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead a dynamic maintenance team, drive safety, and optimize operational efficiency across site facilities. You will develop maintenance strategies, supervise technicians and automation engineers, and oversee preventative programs while coordinating with operations and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME Full Time experience.
• Work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Ensure safety protocols during maintenance activities across the site.
• Design and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs.
• Coordinate with external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Monitor MHE metrics and address system performance issues with relevant teams.
