Job summary

Amazon in Las Vegas is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead a maintenance team, ensuring safety, efficiency and operational excellence. You will develop maintenance strategies, solve complex challenges and empower technicians to perform at their best, balancing preventative programs with real-time problem resolution.

You will oversee safety, coordinate with operations, manage external contractors, and monitor MHE metrics to sustain high service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years Amazon RME experience required.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office applications experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of service technicians and automation engineers, fostering professional growth and performance.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures during maintenance activities across the site.
• Design and implement preventive maintenance programs that enhance operational efficiency.
• Manage and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Monitor MHE metrics and partner with applicable teams to address system performance issues.
