Job summary

Maverick Transportation, LLC is seeking a customer service and dispatch support professional to assist customers, drivers and internal teams. The role focuses on accurate load dispatch, contract interpretation, and maintaining profitable freight flows.

You will engage with customers via phone and email, coordinate with drivers, and use telemarketing when needed to secure freight and monitor shipments. Training leads to a hybrid work option.

Qualifications

• Prefer a four-year college degree with an emphasis in a related field to the position plus 6-12 months related experience and/or training and no previous management experience is required.

Responsibilities

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Provide customer service, technical and sales support to customers, peers, and drivers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ability to communicate effectively via phone and email with customers, drivers, and internal and external Maverick associates. Dispatch and communicate accurate load information to trucks. Ensure and maintain the company's profitability by analyzing the needs of the company's internal and external customers and soliciting and assigning freight to appropriate drivers. Maintain working relationships with internal and external customers and maximize profits by using telemarketing skills to resolve problems, answer questions, solicit freight and track shipments. Service customers' requirements by understanding and maintaining the application of contracts and tariffs. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending and participating in appropriate training. Ensures company confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

WORKING CONDITIONS
