Simplot in Bakersfield seeks an Area Location Manager to oversee multiple sites, drive operational excellence, and maximize asset utilization across our South Valley locations. You will lead safety, efficiency, and profitability while guiding technology adoption and cross-site collaboration.

The role requires 3+ years in operations leadership, experience with technology solutions, and strong asset and inventory management knowledge. A valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leadership experience in operations, logistics, manufacturing, distribution, agriculture, transportation, or related industries.
• Experience implementing technology solutions and business systems.
• Strong understanding of asset management, fleet management, inventory control, and business planning.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and operational software proficiency.
• Valid driver license.

Summary

The Area Location Manager is a strategic operational leader responsible for overseeing multiple locations across the South Valley, including SGS Bakersfield, Edison and Hanford. This role drives operational excellence, asset utilization, logistics performance, technology adoption, safety, and team effectiveness.
