Job summary

The Simplot Company in Stockton, CA, seeks an Area Location Manager to oversee multiple locations in the North San Joaquin Valley, driving operational excellence, asset utilization, logistics performance, safety, and team effectiveness.

You will lead the rollout of new technology platforms, optimize workflows, and develop business plans and budgets while managing staff across sites. Travel up to 50% and a competitive compensation package accompany the role.

Summary

The Area Location Manager is a strategic operational leader responsible for overseeing multiple locations across the North San Joaquin Valley, including SGS Ballico, Lodi, and Stockton. This role drives operational excellence, asset utilization, logistics performance, technology adoption, safety, and team effectiveness.

Typical Education

Associate degree or equivalent experience.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of asset management, fleet management, inventory control, and business planning
• Advanced Microsoft Office and operational software proficiency
• Valid driver license

Preferred Qualifications

• Agricultural industry experience strongly preferred but not required
• Multi-location management experience
• ERP, inventory management, logistics, or dispatch software experience
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience
