Job summary

Preiss Brand is seeking an Area Leasing Consultant for The Bridges and Knoll in Dinkytown, Minneapolis. You will handle day-to-day leasing and marketing operations, greet visitors, and pursue leads through our leasing database.

You will collaborate with local universities and businesses to drive traffic, host resident events, and maintain positive resident relations while ensuring timely follow-up and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of Fair Housing laws.

Responsibilities

  • Leasing: answer calls, greet prospects, follow up, process guest cards.
  • Marketing: build relationships with universities and local institutions to drive prospects.
  • Greeting residents and addressing questions in a timely manner.
  • Reporting and administrative: generate mailings, collect payments, file leases.

Area Leasing Consultant: Area Leasing Consultants are responsible for completing the day-to-day leasing and marketing operations of the property while maintaining positive resident relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leasing
    • Answer calls and persuade potential residents to visit the property or the property website
    • Greet potential residents, parents and visitors in a professional manner
    • Pursue leads by completing daily follow ups in leasing database
    • Place delinquency phone calls
    • Complete guest cards and send thank-you notes
  • Marketing
    • Attend and participate in resident events and event clean up
    • Create working relationships with universities, local institutions, employers, local businesses, cultural centers to help drive prospects to property
    • Execute and promote resident events
    • Set up on campus and hand out promotional items
    • Community Marketing- meet with local businesses, flyer put out, etc
    • Tour competitors on frequent basis to gather information on leasing strategies (i.e. specials, occupancy, prelease percentages, and property upkeep)
  • Greet existing and potential residents
  • Address and resolve questions/concerns in a timely manner
  • Reporting and Administrative
    • Generate mailings
    • Collect checks and monies owed
    • File leases
Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum: (1) year customer service and/or sales experience;Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve escalated customer concerns;Understanding of Fair Housing
  • Preferred: Property Management leasing experience

Education:

Minimum: High school diploma, some college

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
