Job summary

Carteret Management Corporation is seeking an Area Leasing Manager to lead lease-ups and property operations across multiple Florida sites. This travel-based role requires coordinating between on-site teams, corporate departments, and housing partners to deliver exceptional resident experiences.

You will manage leasing and marketing to hit occupancy goals while ensuring HUD/LIHTC compliance and accurate lease documentation. Strong leadership and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of LIHTC and affordable housing experience.
• HCCP certification required.
• Experience managing lease-ups and transition from construction to operations.
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing and landlord-tenant laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily property operations during lease-up and stabilization.
• Coordinate as liaison between on-site teams, corporate, ownership, and partners.
• Foster a positive community environment through resident communication and engagement.
• Oversee leasing office setup, systems, utilities, and maintenance processes.
• Coordinate with construction and asset management to prepare units for occupancy.
• Drive leasing and marketing efforts to meet occupancy goals and build relationships with housing agencies.
• Ensure compliance with HUD/LIHTC and other regulations, including lease files.
• Streamline applicant and resident communications for efficient move-ins.
• Recruit, train and supervise on-site staff; uphold service values.
• Address HR-related matters and report incidents promptly.
