Kilcoy Global Foods in Mundelein, IL seeks an Area Lead to provide daily leadership, direction, and support to the production team in a cold, concrete floor environment.

You will ensure safety, quality, and sanitation standards are followed, identify and resolve production issues, and assist operators with problem solving to meet daily targets. This is a hands-on supervisory role with responsibility in the absence of the supervisor.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a food production environment preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, SPC, HACCP, OSHA, and USDA regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily visual walk around inspections of all equipment and address hazards to maintain a safe environment.
• Ensure all employees adhere to safety procedures and GMP requirements.
• Ensure all products meet customer quality standards.
• Observe and maintain sanitation and food safety standards in the work area.
• May assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the supervisor.
