Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Area Manager to oversee the Janitorial operations at assigned locations in Atlanta. You will lead custodial staff across shifts, ensure cleaning tasks meet established standards, and maintain safety and quality controls.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients and management. Travel to job sites is required; a valid driver’s license is needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in facilities or janitorial operations preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee janitorial operations at assigned locations and ensure tasks meet standards.
• Supervise staff during shifts and provide coaching and feedback.
• Conduct inspections and enforce safety, quality and reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to address needs and requirements.
• Maintain records of schedules, tasks, and incidents.
