ABM Industries is seeking a Janitorial Operations Manager to oversee evening janitorial operations for assigned schools. You will supervise staff, ensure cleaning standards, and maintain records and safety protocols.

The role requires cost-estimating know-how, OSHA familiarity, and excellent communication. Travel to job sites is expected, and a $650/month vehicle stipend is provided along with ABM’s benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with cost estimating or pricing Work.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and chemical handling/storage procedures.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence; present information to managers/customers.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel to job sites.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsabilités

• Manage and supervise janitorial operations of assigned schools during evening shifts.
• Provide leadership and guidance to staff; assign tasks and coach.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleaning standards and maintain cleanliness logs.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols; train staff on chemicals, equipment, and safety.
• Monitor inventory of janitorial supplies and equipment; request replenishments as needed.
• Collaborate with clients to understand janitorial needs and special requirements.
• Identify training needs and provide training to maintenance staff.
• Respond to janitorial-related emergencies and coordinate with relevant personnel.
• Document custodial activities; prepare reports on performance and improvements.
