Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking an Area Human Resources Manager to lead HR strategy and operations across multiple Sunrise communities in the United States. You will drive recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee relations to build engaged, compliant teams.

This regional role requires 2+ years of HR experience, supervisory background, and strong knowledge of employment laws. You will partner with community leaders to deliver HR systems training, policy implementation, and workforce

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years HR experience, senior living or healthcare preferred.
• Supervisory and employee relations experience.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance practices.
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• High integrity and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle recruitment, job fairs, and hiring processes
• Ensure compliance with Sunrise Hiring Standards and employment laws
• Lead onboarding, orientation, and system access for new team members
• Maintain HRIS, ATS, personnel files, and regulatory documentation
• Manage unemployment and workers’ compensation claims
• Serve as HR partner to department leaders on performance management
• Lead employee relations matters and internal investigations
• Drive team member engagement initiatives and action planning
• Deliver HR systems and policy training for front-line staff
• Maintain audit readiness and complete monthly compliance controls (MKCC)

What We’re Looking For:

Pay Range:

68,000.00 - 85,000.00
