Job summary

EOS is seeking an Area Director of People & Culture to oversee the day-to-day HR function across two DC properties. You will lead recruitment, benefits, training, recognition, and employee relations while ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.

You will partner with property leadership, manage payroll/process budgets, and drive the employee lifecycle from onboarding to off-boarding, including wage analysis and safety training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Hospitality, or related field required.
• PHR/SPHR certification preferred but not required.
• 5+ years of human resources leadership experience in hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee two DC properties' HR functions including recruitment, employment, benefits, training, recognition, and colleague relations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with property leadership; advise on employee relations and policy interpretation.
