Job summary

Culligan is seeking an experienced Area General Manager to oversee our store operations. You will lead daily activities, drive revenue, and ensure customer satisfaction across branches.

This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to manage P&L, safety, budgets, and staffing. Bonus plan opportunities and comprehensive benefits are available for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred in Sales, Marketing, Management or related field.
• 5 years of basic plumbing, operations, management, and marketing experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey information clearly.
• Ability to generate sales growth and manage multiple projects and priorities; strong decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Full operational responsibility for all profit and loss activities of the branch.
• Prepare staff to deliver exemplary customer service and measure performance.
• Enforce safety guidelines; file insurance and workers' comp paperwork.
• Protect and manage branch assets effectively.
• Foster a team culture and motivate staff.
• Prepare accurate forecasts and budgets.
• Oversee payables, inventory, and receivables.
• Address difficult customer inquiries and situations.
• Manage deliveries and service call routing.
• Execute programs to meet/exceed sales plans.
• Monitor local competition and market trends.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new hires.
• Identify training needs and develop staff capabilities.
• Monitor performance and provide feedback and coaching.
• May assist with duties of other branch staff as needed.
• Optimize efficiency by consolidating/automating duties.
