Job summary

Area Manager role overseeing framing production across a portfolio of subdivisions in the Sacramento region and the Central Valley, including residential and multifamily projects.

You will lead the field leadership team, hire and mentor superintendents and foremen, and own manpower strategy, schedule commitments, and safety programs across all sites. This position reports to the principal and offers autonomy and performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• Multi-subdivision leadership in homebuilding environments.
• Experience overseeing production across subdivisions, with schedule and cost implications.
• Proven ability to lead field teams including superintendents and foremen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee framing production across multiple subdivisions in Sacramento and Central Valley.
• Lead field leadership team and develop supervisors and lead framers.
• Manage manpower strategy and crew allocation across projects.
• Ensure schedule commitments and builder relationships are maintained.
• Monitor labor cost and production performance against budget.
• Enforce safety and OSHA compliance on all sites.
• Plan lumber and material packages aligned to the schedule.
• Maintain quality and code compliance across sites.
