Job summary

ACCO Engineered Systems is seeking a Field Superintendent to oversee Start-Up, Air Balance, and Warranty activities within the assigned area. You will supervise area supervisors and forepersons, manage staffing, budgets, and scheduling, and coordinate with project management to ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires 12+ years in construction leadership, active union affiliation, strong communication, and extensive experience with Start-Up and QA/QC processes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of construction leadership experience.
• Member of the local United Association union in good standing.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting plans and specifications.
• Experience with Start-Up, QA/QC, and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee Start-Up field activities to meet standards and productivity.
• Oversee operations: resource management, team selection, scheduling, and mentoring.
• Coordinate with PM/PE and labor relations to resolve issues and optimize staffing.
• Monitor quality control measures and drive continuous improvement.
• Attend bid reviews, project kick-offs, and wrap-up meetings.
