Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Area Experience Leader to oversee 4–6 offices, driving a consistent, high-quality client experience. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, and ensure offices are ready to serve clients with excellence.

You’ll own staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations, while driving revenue and business performance across offices. Travel between locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business and financial results across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4-6 offices with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to improve results.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to consistently strong performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, feedback, and performance outcomes.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, labor, compliance, SOPs, and day-to-day operations.
• Own office readiness, facilities, equipment, and seasonal staffing needs.
• Travel frequently between offices to maintain in-person leadership presence.
