Job summary

H&R Block seeks an Area Experience Leader to manage 4-6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You’ll guide Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations, coaching, and hands-on leadership to deliver excellence, readiness, and strong business results.

You will balance strategic oversight with daily in-office presence, drive execution, staffing, and compliance, and travel frequently to coordinate across offices to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business and financial results while managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations, including labor management.
• Ability to travel frequently between assigned offices to maintain in-person presence across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices, with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and address gaps.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors in the offices.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to maintain accountability and performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and performance outcomes to strengthen teams.
