Job summary

H&R Block seeks a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to manage a portfolio of 4-6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You’ll set expectations for consultative service, operational excellence, team performance, and business results while coaching Tax Pros and Client Service Pros.

You will own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to drive revenue

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit environment with accountability for performance.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering a consultative client experience.
• Proven leadership ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business results while managing day-to-day operations across locations.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and prioritize across locations.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including handling client escalations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals by setting expectations and coaching.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and real-time feedback.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, compliance, and SOPs are executed.
• Oversee office and workforce readiness including facilities and onboarding.
