Job summary

H&R Block seeks a dynamic Area Experience Leader to oversee 4-6 offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience and strong operational results. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set clear expectations, and balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to optimize performance.

You will own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations while driving revenue growth and client satisfaction across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Leadership capability with proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results while managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations.
• Experience leading through change, including adoption of new processes.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, including handling client escalations.
• Ability to travel frequently between offices to maintain in-person presence.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact, using insights to improve the experience.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations and coaching.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, performance, and feedback.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance across offices.
• Own office and workforce readiness including facilities and recruitment.
