Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, delivering a consistent, high‑quality client experience through coaching, clear expectations, and disciplined execution across locations.

You’ll develop Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, drive staffing, facilities, compliance, and daily operations, and travel frequently to ensure in‑person leadership across locations, helping the offices achieve growth and strong client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi‑unit retail or service environments with accountable outcomes.
• Strong client‑centric mindset and consultative experience.
• Proven leadership to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business results while managing day‑to‑day operations across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact to reinforce strengths and close gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead teams by setting expectations and coaching for consistent performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and real‑time feedback.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve business results and client acquisition.
