Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience.

You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, driving readiness, staffing, and operational excellence across locations. As a hands-on leader, you’ll balance strategic oversight with in-office presence, align priorities, and boost client outcomes and business performance while traveling between offices to maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience (must-have).
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit settings with accountability for performance.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business results while managing day-to-day operations across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations, using insights to improve.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead professionals by setting clear expectations and coaching for performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and real-time feedback.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and take actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and compliance across offices.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, equipment, and recruiting for seasonal demand.
