H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices and ensure a consistently high-quality client experience across locations.

You’ll set expectations for consultative service, operational execution, and business results while coaching teams for peak performance. As a hands-on leader, you’ll manage staffing, facilities, compliance, and day‑to‑day operations, drive revenue growth, and translate data into actionable improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/service/ops with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven leadership ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations.
• Experience leading through change and new processes adoption.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands across locations with independent judgment.
• Experience in facilities, staffing, or compliance ops across locations.
• Strong communication and problem-solving, handling escalations.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Frequent travel between offices with in-day trips.
• Schedule flexibility to evenings, weekends, Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Coach team using real-time feedback to strengthen execution.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing and compliance.
• Prepare for seasonal demand with facilities, equipment, and recruiting.
