Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, guiding teams to anticipate client needs and provide expert guidance with a welcoming, confident presence.

In this hands-on role, you’ll own office readiness and day-to-day operations—staffing, facilities, compliance—and drive performance and client outcomes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong leadership and accountability across locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 assigned offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and performance outcomes.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve results and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing and compliance.
• Own office readiness, including facilities, equipment, and recruitment.
