Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader (Area Experience Leader) to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience across locations. You will set expectations for consultative service, operations, and business results while coaching Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals.

You will balance strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, drive readiness, staffing, and compliance, and travel between offices to maintain strong in-person presence

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years work experience leading teams in a multi-unit retail, service, or operations environment.
• Strong client-centric mindset with experience delivering consultative client experience.
• Proven ability to drive business and financial results while managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations.
• Ability to travel frequently between assigned offices to maintain in-person presence.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations and drive continuous improvement.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals with clear expectations and coaching.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors, performance outcomes, and feedback to strengthen execution.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations including staffing, scheduling, and compliance are executed consistently.
• Oversee office readiness, staffing, and facilities for seasonal demand.
