Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, delivering a consistent consultative client experience and high-quality service. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, align priorities, and drive revenue and performance across locations.

You will manage staffing, facilities, compliance, and day-to-day operations while traveling frequently to maintain a strong in-person presence and ensure readiness for seasonal demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership of teams in a multi-unit environment with accountability for outcomes.
• Experience delivering consultative client experience and strong client-centric mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable and drive results.
• Experience managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations including labor management.
• Ability to lead through change and adopt new processes and ways of working.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; handles escalations effectively.
• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact; use insights to improve.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead teams with clear expectations; reinforce accountability.
• Provide coaching based on observed behaviors and performance.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and business outcomes across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices (staffing, scheduling, compliance, SOPs).
• Oversee office and workforce readiness including facilities and recruiting for seasonal demand.
