Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to manage a portfolio of 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high‑quality client experience. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, set expectations, and align priorities for strong business results.

You’ll own office readiness, staffing, facilities, compliance, and day‑to‑day operations, driving performance and customer satisfaction across locations with hands‑on leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi‑unit retail, service, or operations environment
• Strong client‑centric mindset with consultative experience
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable
• Experience managing day‑to‑day operations across multiple locations
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes
• Ability to travel frequently between offices for in‑person presence
• Ability to work a schedule aligning with operational hours including weekends

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4–6 offices, ensuring discipline and consistency
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and address gaps
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors
• Lead staff by setting clear expectations and coaching to consistent performance
• Provide coaching based on observed behavior, outcomes, and real‑time feedback
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent
