Job summary

Caregiver, Inc. is seeking an Area Director/Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP) in Texas to ensure PDP-based services and supervise direct care Team Members.

This role emphasizes training, monitoring, and coordination with an interdisciplinary team (IDT) to meet consumer goals and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include developing individual plans, supervising day habilitation, and ensuring timely implementation of objectives within ICF/MR and related waiver programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor individual program plans.
• Supervise training and day habilitation activities for consumers.
• Monitor data sheets and track progress toward goals.
• Ensure integration of the total program plan with daily activities.
• Coordinate case management services and IDT communications.
• Oversee team performance and corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and waivers.
