The role includes managing day services, residential services or supported employment, and serving as the primary contact for DHHS oversight inquiries and investigations. The position involves hiring and mentoring staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial management, and ongoing reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social services or related field preferred.
• Five years of progressive management experience required.
• Five years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities required.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, evaluate and mentor team members and coordinators.
• Manage operational aspects of the area to ensure smooth operations and compliance.
• Undertake sound financial management to keep the area profitable and within budget.
• Develop and maintain program operation policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Respond timely to alleged violations of rules, regulations, or standards of conduct.
• Act as an independent review body to ensure quality assurance and resolution of concerns.
• Report violations to enforcement agencies as appropriate.
• Maintain an effective quality assurance communication program.
• Ensure staff training including new hires and recertifications.
• Regularly report on operations and progress of compliance efforts.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.
