Sevita is seeking an Operations Management Area Director to lead program-site teams and ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centered services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and drive area-wide growth initiatives in collaboration with community partners.

The role emphasizes financial stewardship, stakeholder relations, and strategic planning to maximize census, occupancy, and service quality across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three to six years of related experience with significant management experience in the human services industry.
• Master’s degree in Human Services or related field is preferred; state requirements and licensure as needed.
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Effective communication skills to manage relationships with staff, partners, and stakeholders.
• Commitment to quality and person-centered services in service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, leadership, and supervision of staff at the program site to ensure quality services.
• Oversee financial performance, review financial statements, and manage purchasing and billing documentation.
• Implement growth strategies to increase census and occupancy, and support new start development.
• Foster relationships with case managers, referral agents, and government officials; advocate for individuals served.
• Build engagement with individuals served, families, and guardians to support care goals.
