Seven Hills Foundation in Massachusetts is seeking an Area Director to oversee multiple residential programs, lead high-performing teams, and ensure the delivery of person-centered care.

This role blends leadership, strategy, compliance, and advocacy, balancing operational excellence with a deep commitment to the people we support, while coordinating ISP development and staff development.

Qualifications

• Standard driver’s license – class C or D.
• 5–10 years of related experience.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Resident Directors and oversee staff performance appraisals and development.
• Participate in applicant selection and provide site orientation to staff.
• Coordinate internal on-call systems as needed.
• Oversee ISP development and program compliance across homes.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations including reports, records, maintenance and budgets.
• Manage client information entries quarterly in the TIER system.
• Represent homes at administrative meetings and evaluate program services.
• Ensure DDS regulations compliance and two-year certification with distinction.
• Coordinate clinical supports, entitlements, and community resources for consumers.

Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of the Assistant Vice President, supervise Resident Directors, and oversee supervision of all assigned staff, including oversight of performance appraisals and staff development.
• Participate in the selection of applicants and provide site orientation to staff.
• Coordinate the internal on-call systems as needed.
• Oversee the management and development of programs including ISP development and implementation, assuring compliance with established regulations and guidelines.
• Coordinate day-to-day operations of assigned homes including reports, records, maintenance and budgets.
• Manage, no less than quarterly, and ensure that all prescribed client information has been entered, maintained and updated in TIER.
• Represent assigned homes at subsidiary administrative meetings and participate in the evaluation of program services.
• (TMR, BSC, Financial Audits, etc.)
• Ensure that homes operate in accordance with DDS regulations and that the homes meet the requirements necessary to receive a two year certification with distinction.
• Coordinate clinical supports, entitlements, community resources and liaison for consumers as needed.
