Job summary

Acosta Group, including CORE Foodservice, is seeking an Area Development Manager to expand market presence and drive sales with operators and existing clients in the region.

You will work with the sales team to develop and execute plans, manage client relationships, and utilize CRM and Power BI data to optimize performance and opportunities. The role requires travel within the territory and a track record of meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and maintaining client relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-driven approach.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Power BI dashboards and client/customer data to manage the business.
  • Develop, train, and motivate CORE sales team.
  • Increase client engagement from the CORE Sales Team by monitoring scorecards, opportunities, and pipeline.
  • Execute the client's sales plan.
  • Track progress and performance on internal systems.
  • Develop strong relationships with top customers (Distributor and Operator).
  • Lead local sales meetings and major market selling functions such as food shows and critical sales calls.

Description

As an Area Development Manager, you will be a key player in expanding our client's market presence and increasing sales. Your primary responsibility will be to sell our client's products to both existing and new customers at the operator level. You will work closely with the sales team to develop and execute sales plans, ensuring we meet our targets and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities
