Job summary

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital - ALSAC is seeking an Advisor - Area Development to lead fundraising initiatives and expand donor networks across the Phoenix area. You will recruit volunteers, sponsors, and community partners, aiming to exceed revenue goals and raise awareness for the St. Jude mission.

You will travel within the territory, manage multiple campaigns, and collaborate with enterprise and local teams to maximize impact for families and fundraising results.

Qualifications

• Five years of fundraising, development, customer service, or sales experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and activate fundraising initiatives, recruit volunteers, sponsors, and partners to maximize revenue.
• Achieve financial and stewardship goals set by leadership.
• Build relationships with volunteers and donors through face-to-face interaction.
• Provide support and resources for fundraising initiatives via visits, written and electronic communication.
• Create marketing and recruitment plans for events and engage media partners to raise awareness and funds.
• Develop and grow high-value revenue events ($250,000+) with leadership guidance.
• Document event contacts and revenues using appropriate tools and systems.
• Represent St. Jude publicly to strengthen relationships and brand awareness.
• Collaborate with internal teams, volunteers, and stakeholders to cultivate donors and sponsorships.
