Job summary

Hakes Brothers is seeking an Area Construction Manager to lead the construction organization, directing Construction Managers to meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. You will ensure model homes stay retail-ready, oversee safety and OSHA compliance, and coordinate with multiple departments to deliver completed homes on schedule.

The role requires at least two years of CM experience, vehicle access, and a strong focus on teamwork and accountability to provide exceptional customer

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as CM or similar role.
• Must own or have access to a vehicle for daily work.
• Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Construction Organization to achieve closings, cycle times, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure model homes and retail condition; monitor site cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Hire and supervise all construction staff; manage sick/vacation times and coverage.
• Monitor construction budgets, warranty expenditures, and cost control measures.
• Coordinate with Office Manager to schedule closings and maintain timelines.
• Ensure all homes are built per plan, on schedule, and meet quality standards.
• Foster teamwork and accountability; maintain OSHA compliance and SWPPP requirements.
