Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking an Associate Area Director, Clinical Operations to oversee multiple clinic sites and lead nurse managers and clinical staff. The role ensures adherence to policies, quality patient care, and regulatory compliance across the assigned area.

The candidate will drive staffing planning, training, and performance management, partnering with risk, education, and operational leaders to achieve goals.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of experience in healthcare or clinic/outpatient settings with oncology knowledge.
• Minimum three (3) years of clinical management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing and Florida RN license preferred; OCN certification beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical oversight of assigned clinic sites.
• Direct, mentor, and evaluate nurse managers and clinical supervisors.
• Monitor staffing levels and skill mix across sites; adjust as needed.
• Ensure nursing practice adheres to chemotherapy and biotherapy standards and safety rules.
• Lead training, onboarding, and competency validation across sites.
• Support HR processes including hiring, salary actions, transfers, and terminations.
• Manage budget, overtime, and supply spend within operating plan.
• Report clinical KPIs and implement corrective actions for trends.
