Job summary

Home Helpers of AR seeks an Area Care Tech (ACT) to support clients across multiple homes when regular staff are unavailable. This role offers variety, flexible scheduling, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in patients' daily lives.

Ideal for experienced caregivers or CNAs, you will assist with hygiene, mobility, light housekeeping, meal prep, companionship, and accurate care documentation, traveling to client homes in the Valparaiso area with reliable transportation and a valid

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Active CNA license preferred or willing to become PCA.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Current auto insurance and ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Supporting safe mobility and transfers.
• Performing light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Offering companionship and emotional support.
• Documenting care activities and reporting changes in client condition.
• Responding quickly to client needs in multiple homes across assigned areas.
