Job summary

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking an Area Care Tech to provide in-home support, stepping in when staff are unavailable. The role emphasizes compassionate care, mobility assistance, and flexible scheduling across multiple client locations.

Ideal candidates are experienced caregivers or CNAs who thrive in fast-paced settings and are willing to travel to client homes as needed. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must be a dependable, compassionate caregiver with a genuine desire to help clients.
• Active CNA or PCA license is preferred, or willingness to obtain PCA certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Clean background check and drug screening.
• Willingness to travel to client homes as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene and grooming.
• Support safe mobility and transfers.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Document care activities and report changes in client condition.
• Respond quickly to client needs across assigned areas.
