Job summary

Home Helpers of AR is seeking an Area Care Tech (ACT) to support clients when regular staff are unavailable. This role offers variety, flexibility, and the chance to make a meaningful difference across homes.

You’ll assist with personal hygiene, mobility, light housekeeping and meal prep, provide companionship, document care, and respond quickly to client needs. Travel to client homes is required.

Qualifications

• Experienced caregiver or CNA; willingness to become PCA.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Clean background check and drug screening; ability to travel to client homes.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal hygiene and grooming
• Supporting safe mobility and transfers
• Performing light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Documenting care activities and reporting any changes in client condition
• Responding quickly to client needs in various homes across assigned areas
