Job summary

CMC Partners is seeking an Area Production Manager to oversee 2-3 sand and gravel sites in California. This newly created leadership role requires a hands-on, field-based leader who can drive safety, reliability, and production growth across multiple aggregate operations.

You will lead a team of about 30 employees, including Plant Managers, partnering with operations to optimize plans, improve performance, and shape long-term strategy while remaining engaged in day-to-day field activities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, servant-style leader with aggregates/mining production experience.
• Ability to lead at multiple sites and influence frontline teams.
• Balance strategic thinking with boots-on-the-ground leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership across 2-3 aggregate sites.
• Lead and develop a team of up to 30 employees.
• Drive improvements in production efficiency, reliability, and performance.
• Develop and execute production plans aligned with business demand.
• Provide strategic oversight while remaining engaged in day-to-day operations.
• Evaluate equipment, processes, and plant performance for improvements.
• Partner with Plant Managers to implement best practices.
• Shape long-term operating strategy across the area.
