Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with required endorsements or related training.
• Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule ARD meetings and set meeting guidelines.
• Facilitate ARD committee discussions and ensure participation.
• Ensure timelines for ARD meetings are met.
• Coordinate systematic communication between special and general education staff on IEPs, accommodations, and instructional concerns.
• Support student achievement through IEP-directed instruction.
• Assess student progress regularly to guide program effectiveness.
• Collaborate with teachers to address student achievement deficiencies and promote innovative instructional programs.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with district policies.
