Job summary

Yulista Holding, LLC is seeking a Tower Technician I to work various job sites in Alaska, performing general construction duties in extreme conditions. This role involves tower erection and microwave installation along with civil and grounding work.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, two years of construction experience, and required certifications. Benefits include health insurance, holidays, and a 401(K) match.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in the construction field required.
• Tower Safety and Rescue Certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Rigging certification required within 6 months of hire.
• CDL required within 12 months of hire.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction duties across various sites in extreme conditions.
• Climb to heights of up to 300 feet daily.
• General construction of tower sites including installation and maintenance.
• Mentor less experienced laborers.

Skills

Knowledge of materials, terms, and practices in construction

Basic knowledge of climbing gear and tower safety

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Rope and knot tying skills

Ability to use electronic test equipment

Teamwork and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure

Strong self-motivation and work ethic

Ability to read safety rules and specifications

Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely

Education
