Job summary

Qavvik Air LLC. Kotzebue, Alaska, seeks a Ramp Agent to provide safe, efficient ground support for passenger, baggage, cargo, aircraft, and facility operations in an Arctic environment.

This hands-on role works with flight crews, Customer Service, operational control, and maintenance to ensure aircraft are prepared for departure and properly serviced on arrival, rain or shine. Flexibility and independent work are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to obtain airport identification, security credentials, and driving privileges.
• Ability to safely work around aircraft, vehicles, and ground equipment.

Responsibilities

• Marshal aircraft into/out of designated parking areas after training.
• Assist with aircraft arrival, parking, securing, and departure.
• Load and unload baggage, freight, and other cargo.
• Provide courteous passenger assistance and direct boarding.
• Assist with ground support activities and equipment operation as trained.
• Maintain awareness of hazards and report safety concerns immediately.
